If you have an elderly, convalescing or young dog that can’t walk long distances, why not consider hiring one of our Dog Buggies or backpacks? The Buggies are ideal for the 10 mile walk around the lake, or the beautiful scenic walk up the old railway line to Threlkeld.
Alternatively, if you are wanting to walk uphill or on more uneven ground, consider the K9 Sport Sack: We hire Harry the Carry. This carrier is a size Large and you can read all about them and watch some useful videos on our sales page here.

Hire a dog crate during your visit to the Lake District. If you don’t want to cart your own crate to The Lakes with you, you can hire our crate during your stay.
The crate can be booked for a 3 day hire (£10) or a 7 day hire (£20). Please contact us by phone or email with the dates required. We need advance notice as we do not store the crates at the shop.
The crate is available for pick-up from our shop. It also needs to be returned here at the end of your visit.
